Generally, what you will see on this blog at the moment is Doctor Who and The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, a little Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra, and the occasional Hunger Games and Harry Potter post. I also post things that shock or amuse me, so keep an eye out for that.
I'm very bad at tagging. If there's something in particular that you don't want to see, you'll have to tell me so I can be sure to tag it for your blacklisting. However, I post a LOT of spoilers, and I'm very bad at tagging those.
but like who started the idea that fanfiction writers are somehow bothered by enthusiasm for their work???? cause i see posts all the time like “do writers really want to talk with us about their fics? Do writers really want long comments? I dont want to bother them” and i just think its absolutely ridiculous????
ofc i want to talk to you about it, and would love to hear you go on about it. i took time out of my real life to write this stuff down so we could all share these characters!!! the idea that you’re bothering a fanfiction writer, a fellow nerd, is absolutely crazy
All creators: writers, artists, editors, singers, crafters, all of us. We are people. We like to know when we did something well and when we touched people with our art.
Authors are the biggest narcissists you’ll ever meet. You wanna talk about OUR WORK??????? Hell yeah??? I’ll talk to you for hours about what brand of shoe my characters all wear please for the love of goD talk to us if you wanna talk to us there’s so much to say
People should probably learn the difference between “plot holes” and “things I didn’t like” or “things the franchise plans to explain in the future” or “things film makers didn’t think they needed to explicitly explain because they thought you had critical thinking skills”

“But if you’re valedictorian, and she’s salutoriain, and the six of us are top 2%, then who’s driving the bus?”
“so. did anyone do the calc homework?” *chorus of no’s* “you know, i don’t know why I even asked.”
“maybe if we all pretend we don’t know what we’re doing, he’ll move the calculus test.” “Honey, I don’t even need to pretend.”
My favorite little detail from A Link Between Worlds is how Zelda has the Pendant of Courage, and Impa mentions how it has been passed through the royal family for generations
(which is odd since Wisdom is usually attributed to the Royal family unless A certain hero gave it ti a certain princess and is of such great value that is becomes a very important heirloom)
… Together with the painting mentioned by the rumor guy of the Princess and the Hero from generations past cuddling makes my zelink trash heart so happy at the subtle hints that ALTTP Zelink may have happened for real. Now this is all speculation, but still.
